After Intex , Spice welcomes Firefox OS in India
Its been hardly 4 days since Intex launched the Firefox OS powered Cloud FX , and now Spice has joined it in welcoming the Mozilla's open source & cloud focused OS in India.
Today, Spice took covers of its first Firefox OS phone called Fire One Mi FX 1. It features a 3.5 inch screen , 1GHz processor, an expandable memory of upto 4GB, along with a 1.3 MP rear camera & 0.3 MP on the front. Also, the device is Dual Sim which is nowadays becoming the priority for all smartphone buyers in India. The device would cost you just 2,299 INR. Not to forget the Intex Cloud FX is available at just 1,999 INR.
We will have to wait & watch whether Mozilla's attempt in the World's Fastest growing and Budget minded smartphone market can really be worth it. If their stratergy gets succeded then we can surely expect a heated battle of low cost smarphones in Sub 5,000 INR market , since Android One powered smartphones are also on their way.
