What Apple needs to learn from iOS 8 Update issues for iPhone 4S & iPad 2 owners

If you have updated to the iOS 8  then you would certainly have a lot to tell about . Some will brag about the new features & minor tweaks which make the update much needed & with potential possibilities. But, on the darker side , few owners will have a lot of frustration to take out on forums . And, there are TWO Main reasons which I will talk about :

1. STORAGE : Back up all your Photos, Music, Videos , and App settings in iCloud or via iTunes on your PC or Mac Because , iOS 8 update requires at least 4.6 GB to 5.7 GB of FREE Space, depending on your device . It takes around 1GB of your actual SYSTEM partition . So, Why Such huge amount of free space is required ?? This Article will help explain it better:

2. PERFORMANCE : iPhone 4S & iPad 2 users BEWARE before updating, as these devices(around 3.5 Years Old) are facing alot of Lags , UI freezing ,  App incompatiblities, WiFi issues & other minor glitches, as reported by users . 
So, think Twice before Updating if you own any of these 2 OLD devices. Moreover, Apple will eventually come out with performance oriented updates in near future,
so , KEEP CALM & DO NOT FREAK OUT  . 
Still for a better experience, I would suggest fellow iPhone 4S & iPAD 2 users to get an upgrade to newer iDevice . Let's face it, every device reaches its end of life some day & nothing is Future Proof. 

WHAT APPLE NEEDS TO LEARN FROM THIS

We know Apple doesn't go after Low-end Budget market , instead it prefers offering the outdated hardware at lower price points in emerging markets. And , there lies the problem for Apple. 
After hearing these 4s ,ipad 2 owners ,  I think Apple seriously needs to decide before promising and eventually offering latest updates to these outdated hardware . But, if Apple , still , is in favour of selling Outdated Hardware at low price points to win budget market race , then , I strongly believe they need to focus on the Memory, and power efficiency of iOS ,  such that Older hardware (iPHone 4 , 4S , iPad 2 in this case) can take advantage of it & run the future iterations more efficiently. 

Microsoft & Google are following the same strategy with WP 8.1 & Android Kitkat , except the fact they prefer selling low end phones ,by bringing Latest innovations in more affordable package, such that low end processor like Snapdragon 200 & entry level Mediatek processors can fully utilize the OS functionality & the overall experience remains satisfactory.  


P.S.    I have been testing iOS 8 on my iPad mini 1st Generation , since last 2 days of release including Default Apps , Third Party Apps , Multitasking , GPU performance , WiFi connectivity and they all working absolutely fine until now .
