iOS 7 Latest Feature : Apple's Redemption on "Maps"

Looks like,  Apple is on the move to vastly improve its Map/Navigation services. The latest proof is the Location Tracking Features in the iOS 7 Beta 4,  "Improve Maps" & "Frequent Locations" which will be included in the Final Build too, as told by Apple.

Like,Google & Nokia , Apple will also track your every move, when the Location Services Option is "Enabled", in order to utilize it in its Augmented Based Map search, Like,  if one wants to know regarding the Nearby Places, Theaters, Restaurants, etc. Also, one can check which places he visits the Most .

This feature takes use of the GPS Service on the Device. Based on the Location, you are currently on, the device will  send the Geo-tagged locations of nearby Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers to Apple, in an encrypted manner(Google, are You listening ?) . If the user Enables the Improve Maps feature, the GPS co-ordinates of the location would be recorded by Apple, Again, in an encrypted manner(anonymously). The calculated location would then be compared with the street address provided by the user in the Apple ID, for better Navigation.

The user will always have the option to Turn off this feature by going to
Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services -> Frequent Locations .

The features are still in the Beta stage, and, Apple is keen on improving this by adding many more features, before the September's iOS 7 Launch, for consumers.
